Policies

We don't like rules as much as you do, but for the comfort of our guests, Hotel Vista Del Mar has the following policies in place. If you have any questions regarding these policies, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Check-In

Check-in is guaranteed at 3PM.

Check-Out

Check-out is 11AM. Unfortunately, due to our small size, we cannot honor late check-outs.

Luggage Storage

Hotel Vista Del Mar is happy to hold onto your luggage prior to check-in and after check-out.

Stairs

Hotel Vista Del Mar is located on the third floor and up two small flights of stairs with no elevator.

Payment Policy

Payment is required 30 days prior to arrival on standard reservations. If a reservation exceeds $1000, a 10% non-refundable deposit will be taken at the time of booking, payment of the balance due 60 days before arrival.

Package reservations require payment in full at time of booking.

Cancellation Policy

Hotel Vista Del Mar offers a 5 day cancellation policy, less a $25 service fee on regular reservations. For those that exceed $1000, or fall over special events, a 30 day cancellation policy and a 10% non-refundable deposit is required.

Package reservations are non-cancelable, non-changeable and non-refundable.

No Smoking

Hotel Vista Del Mar has a strict no-smoking policy. If evidence of smoking is found in your room, you will be charged a $200 cleaning fee. Smoking is strictly prohibited anywhere in the hotel, inluding balcony areas.

Pre-Authorization Hold

Upon check-in, we require a $200 authorization hold on a credit or debit card for any incidentals. Holds on credit cards will take 3 to 5 business days to clear depending on your bank. We discourage use of debit cards, as these may take up to a month to clear authorization holds depending on your bank's policies.

Extra Guest Charge

Our room rates are based on double occupancy. Additional guests are charged at an additional $35 + tax per night.

Minimum Night Stay

If a reservation includes a Saturday night, a two-night minimum stay applies. If a reservation includes a special event or a holiday, a three-night minimum stay is required.

Re-Booking

As a guest at Hotel Vista Del Mar, you enjoy first priority to rebook your room, at the same time for the following year, anytime during your stay with us. Re-booking is based on days of the week. For example, if you are staying in our Ocean View Room on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday - July 23rd, 24th and 25th, you enjoy first priority for re-booking the Ocean View Room for Sunday, Monday and Tuesday - July 24th, 25th and 26th of the following year.

The only exception to this policy is for reservations for July 4th and New Years Eve, which are guaranteed for the upcoming year based on date. If you wish to upgrade your room for your next visit, you may be added to the waiting list until guests in the desired room decided whether to re-book.

Pets

In the interest of our other guests, Hotel Vista Del Mar does not allow pets.

Front Desk Hours

The Front Desk staff is available daily from 8AM and 9PM. A night manager is available on the premises if you require assistance between 9PM and 8AM.
